  • Really? which ones? (i'm not being sarcastic, i really want to know)

Well I think that person is failing to notice that FPS games work differently then MMOs in general. More stuff can be server sided in an MMO then in FPS games and it will run smoothly. HOWEVER, checks can be done server side to solidify the anti-hack...and that can be set up so that attempting to shut off or bypass THAT won't even let you play...best anti-hack ever.

Packet verification would have to done constantly, though. Would increase the server load, but not increase traffic.

Anyway, I've played few MMORPGs very long, but ONE that I played didn't get hacked for a full 3 years after it launched, and THAT was patched within 24 hours....because they had a private anti-cheat and private-onsite-anticheat programming team. Investments.

Sad but they game shut down the NA/Global server due to low profitability and dwindling content from the developer company.

Played a few other's and they we're fun enough to not need hacks...*shrugs*
Maybe FPS games are just ego mongers and skill-less players can't handle it. I SUCK at CoD (360), but I don't rage quit or go buy ViPs...I keep playing (hows a good ol' 1/14, eh?). MMORPGs just don't need hacks, just bots if anything...

Runescape....bots remind me of runescape....I hate them even more then i hate hackers here.

    That's alot of hate...
  • Why the hell can't you guys just quit or learn to deal with it...Im tired of threads like this. Is it really that hard to stop playing crossfire for a while?

yes it is because they have no lives.

    Heres one example:

    http://www.cosmicbreak.com/home

and yes, its a shooter. (first person or third -you get to choose)
been out for many years in its native area, as well as close to a year in the ENG version. all of them havent had a single hacking problem. and they make less money and run no rootkit antihack software.
the cash shop is a bit harsh, but its alot better then having to deal with highpingers and cheaters constantly.

You also forget the notable base of players for that game. even just by looking at the FB likes, they only had 12k, versus CF's over 500k. Big difference. Thats like comparing Mac's no virus perk to PC's because no one has cared to develop as many viruses for Mac's as there is no market for it. Same thing for hackers.

at least its hack proof =P EVERYTHING is server sided. (everything that matters anyways)

id rather have the 12k over 500k any day if it meant being rid of cheaters, laggers, and stupid foreigners whose ignorance while playing is something to be admired.

sidenote: i cant bring myself to play this game much anymore except for friends, because of the widespread infestion of stupid foreigners who refuse to speak anything but there own language, there sheer ignorance to others, and constantly having to deal with teleporting people. (anybody over 150 ping teleports on my screen)

(feel free to call me a hypocrite about hte ignorance part, at least I dont do it 95% of the time)
  • seriously that f***ing hackers need to go and what strikes me they all have te same ping so like 200+ in every server there are hacks and they keep say
    ban this site!

any putting the site address on a public forum helps it how?

It's interesting, very interesting. But i'm not really into that sort of anime...or type of setting (futuristic and si-fi, i will make an exception for Transformer games)

Do you play that Silver? It looks pretty cool!

I've been playing america's army some. It's got a huge learning curve and very in depth.
But I come from the mmopg role playing culture, so I'll get the hang of it.
Already I've completed all the bct prerequisites as expert and have 3 categories in mos expertly qualified. hehe.
