Recovery of old names

Sup guys, I used to have an old account with a sweet name that I would love to have back. I got tired of the name a while back and used a name change. And now when I try to use a name change again it just says its taken by another player. I know its not taken because I used the exact player match and no profile came up. So, is their anyway to get this name back? Hopefully I didnt leave any details out.
