ZP characters faster?
So I've noticed that ZP characters, SPOP specifically seem to be way faster in melee combat.
What I mean by that is that sometimes we both miss our "power swings" but before my character is even done with his attack the SPOP has already swung again and killed me, but this seems to happen all the time with SPOPs so I was just wondering if certain characters have hidden perks or if the game is just laggy or something like that.

It's all in the animations. Since almost everyone (besides you apparently) has SPOP, it could seem that they swing fast, but in reality, the swing time is based on the weapon, not the character. -
I think spops move faster too after seeing them play in arena and sewers with axes and shovels. It seems they move like 1.5 times faster than my swat character. Even if they are not faster they still throw you off balance because of their small size and the way they appear to move.

if ur talking about axe, the animation u see as the player is different from what people see u do as an opponent. the animation u see if the right one and it seems a lot slower than the animation u see as an opponent.
as for the moving forwards fast is cuz cf has a lunging effect when u move from stationary (or slow moving) to forward movement personally u wont see much difference but as an opponent, it looks like they are lunging fast at you.
and as one comment said, its all about timing. gatta know ur timing for animations and movement :P -
So...someone told me that SPOP is noob because it has more evasion.. and he said it sais on site at character description
"They are best-known for their speed and agility in combat and their unorthodox tactics."
Is this true? Is there even such thing as evasion in CF characters?
O'd appreciate a moderators answer. -

dude the info says a lot of things. if u read all the info for the different m4a1s u'll realize that some say they are stronger and lighter but in reality its all the same
spops have the same hit box, the same movement, same evasion, and same EVERYTHING to other classes
they just happened to look smaller compared to other characters -

thats what i believe too... but it wouldnt hurt to confirm it from a GM or Mod
well as for speed i think SPOP are indeed slightly faster cause i tried this with a friend we had both Knife on and he chased me at some point he reached me -

as i explained above, knifing is all about timing
if u both were running towards each other and click at the same time the less laggier person would get the kill
were as if one lunges and both clicks at the same time, the one who lunged would get the kill
its just how cf made the game :P -

Yep, I agree with this! They're not faster. And they're not laggier. Now, if they're using anything other than knife it's a lag issue because all melee weapons besides knife have varying degrees of lag, the shovel being the worst.
By the way just to clarify lag, don't worry I'm not saying you don't know this OD_AK, but by lag, it just means, if you get hit by the weapon, your death will lag on your computer. The actual killing is fair though. So if they hit you, they hit you, but it's only when YOU as the person that gets hit that will see the death later, so because of that, you feel that the weapons lag.
