Why is my Ping so High

Today when i got onto crossfire i saw my ping was at 60 im confused because the day before it was at 9 - 13 i got on my bros PC and it shows he has 9 ping when we play together on the same connection i get a much higher ping... I went on speedtest.net and got this from the west coast server
Ping - 11
DL Speed- 25Mbps
Upload - 24Mbps
Why is my ping so high in crossfire but for every thing else including Bc2 and Black ops my ping is normal

did he say that u troll? its like the same issue with me. my ping went up 35 points randomly and last patch it went up another 20

Same here! Yesterday my ping turned from 20 into 95-98 -.- AND this was in UK2-3-4

I know, after this May Patch (Stupid Patch) My ping wen up like 5 and when i start shooting at someone, my ping just spikes so high. Its so gay.

maybe ur brother is using cable and ur using wifi?
similar thing happens to me and my bro but his laptop doesnt spike up that high...

there was a problem with the may patch? i didnt notice
did it only affect UK servers cuz alpha, bravo and charlie still gives me 12 ping

lol .. u know something .. 60 isnt a high ping for me .
cuz my lowest ping ever was 64 xD
im playing with 70-230!!!!!
and some its 150-230 xD

you guys increased a little bit. For me in uk server.

before it was 140

Now it is 270!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
