Okay so during the summer I plan on building my own rig.

9800GT? Outdated, not a worthy investment. You don't need an 800 watt, and you're better off going with the HX series of Corsair's.

Why are you buying an i3 with a top of the line motherboard? Take advantage of Intel's new i5 sandy bridges, much better investment.

Yeah I hear you but..I have a budget to have it under $800.
So...in future most likely to upgrade my CPU i7.

On side not care to explain why 800 watts is not worthy choice.

Because your system would only be consuming 400 watts full load. I'll post a better performing computer build that's way more efficient, do you need a case and a dvd drive and an operating system?

Really? I only need 400 watts? For gaming computer?
Yeah case I already have, DVD drives I just scrap them off from one of my broken computers. Operating System I already have.

That's a great cooler, especially if you're overclocking. You're going to need a big case for this cooler tho.

Only problem is my dad bought a Silverstone case.
From like 2nd hand shop still look's good.
I cant fine any info on it online though.

EDIT: I thought gaming PC's required abit of power.
Then what requires 800 watts?

800 watts? Dual SLI GTX 560's and an i7 990x. I'll post my ideal build for you in a second.

I've researched and experimented. The GTX 460 takes approximately 150 watts full load. The i5? About 120 watts. Everything else in your computer takes a little amount , so you can come to the conclusion that your computer will be using about 400 watts. Realistically, this means you want to get a minimum of at least a 450 watt from a reliable company such as Corsair or Seasonic. I went out and chose the 650, as it gives you more than enough headroom to power your current computer, and any upgrade you make in the future.

Just research the amount of wattage the main hardware in your computer take (Graphic card, CPU)

Asrock? It's Asus's secondary company. Asrock's have probably the most stable boards out today, especially the particular model I recommended you.

Btw would recommend me upgrade CPU 2 a i7 in the future.
I don't think I would be doing video rendering and stuff like that.

The i7 2600k is only slightly better at video rendering, and rendering in general compared to the i5 2500k, that's it. Trust me, by the time you even consider upgrading an i5 2500k, computers will have processors with 200 cores.

btw tasty, remember the $500 build you recommended? You said i'll be getting 150 fps easy in 5v5's, but will i be able to record at decent fps in game or replays.

With Tasty posting all these cheap builds it's making me quite mad that I spent $600 on a Samsung Laptop during Christmas and realizing I could of built a desktop for that much and played games on much higher settings.
