How to streamline the report system.
I bet Z8 gets thousands of reports EVERY DAY and that their support team is completely overloaded. I mean, they have to watch every report and try to detect hackers! That's a lot of work!
But us players still have to suffer seeing the same hackers over and over again. Obviously, something isn't right.
However, some legit players (ahem me) have been banned when we didn't hack. Why? Because people with no skill think we hack, and report us, and we accidentally get banned.
So I propose this plan to streamline reporting:
Z8 should have "report priority"
This is how it works: Say I report "player" once, and someone else reports him, and another person reports him. He's been reported 3 times. So, he gets bumped up in priority. Now, let's say some idiot thinks I hack, and reports me. However, since I'm just reported once, I'm not very high on priority.
This would help because I'm guessing that several people report the same hacker, so it could streamline all those reports with the same IGN and save lots of time. It could also save a lot of innocent players.
Thoughts?

Yeah I know back in AVA, some Brazilians had their entire clan mass report someone in-game, and they started lagging (since being reported puts their name on your "whisper" list, as if they had a chat transaction with you). I've also been mass reported by an entire clan (one time after going 11-1 by rushing with a Versek or Mp7) but doesn't lag me thanks to my high end system.
But this will do far more good than bad. A true hacker will be reported hundreds of times over a week or month. Someone who just cant handle that you're too good for them, might have 10 reports.
Problem with wall hackers is, it's not always clear on replay when a person is following someone's footsteps or he can see through walls. THIS is why so many blatant wall hackers have NOT been banned. I hear footsteps with a high end audio setup, I follow them. (Now thanks to windows 7, a Beyerdynamic MMX 300 $350 headset, and a Creative labs X-fi, I can hear someone reloading in their spawn, from B bomb site on Port, with full 5.1 surround sound...this did NOT work in windows XP AT ALL...) -

Not necessarily. Remember, the support team still looks at the replay. They don't just ban based on volume. -

you just had to turn your volume up
i use xp with onboard sound and some 20 bucks headphones and guess what? it works too... -

well doesn't matter dude. If you hear them by sound, it's fine.
What i'm talking about is people who speedhack (pretty obvious), shoot through walls (really obvious), and do 360 aimbotting (okay are you blind?)
those 3 are really obvious and yet there's so many... -
Nice idea! And mass reporting doesn't mean you'll get banned. It just means that you will be in a high priority to be investigated upon.
Thanks! You got what i mean, because they still watch the reports, even if the person was reported 100000 times!
This would really help because I bet that actual hackers are reported a lot more than players like me. -
This is great! It really makes sense, and would help both players who try to turn in a really obvious hack and the sifters who must go through everything, including spammers and other trashy reports. This is a great idea for hack control, I think I might put it in my sig.
