X-Trap Problem After Update

Ever since the May update, my computer has not been able to pass the X-Trap loading. When I attempt to load Cross Fire, I get an error after X-Trap loads completely.

Some functions of the operating system has been corrupted. Please, close any program which is affecting game client and restart the system.

I don't believe anything has changed with my computer since then and I have a feeling it had something to do with the update. If there is a way to correct this issue, I'm all ears.
