ye my game does this... at least a few times while im playin...

it will do it...then...undo itself after a game or 2... NO other game does it, so its not an issue with my hardware

when it does it i hear a "ding" sound..like unplugin a usb drive... then a ding when it undoes itself

and u dont support my monitors resolution 1280*1024 CRT<3's 4 life!

but some other games dont also, and i've never had the issue with it.

infact, sometimes it annoys me, and i close cf and play somen else it will correct w/e cf has failed at.

Ok ok, let me at least get all this into the bottom-line question.

You play the game normally, then you experience the disconnect sound for unplugging USBs in gameplay?

If that is your question, please check your connections, then make sure the USB software on your computer is up-to-date.

If that isn't the question, please reiterate it, but in 1-2 sentences. It will help by simplifying the issue.

Thanks for the info though, might or might not help with the problem, but at least there is the foundation.

i explained my issue very clearly. and if you read, which i assume you didn't do very well...

i said i have CRT monitors... checking my usb connections, would have absolutely nothing to do with my monitors... and if i'm smart enough to include dxdiag for the actual coders of the game(doubt the bothered to read my thread however) then.. my software is clearly up to date, which...again has nothing to do with the issue.

since you lack brain cells. lemme break it down real simple for you

im playing the game.... in full screen, somtimes does as soon i open the game, the game instead of going in fullscreen, makes a "usb LIKEEEE" sound... and goes into a windowed mode..or some warped resolution. not always, but sometimes it stretches itself, to my other monitor, alt tab, click the game... bam tiny window. play a game.... it corrects itself eventually.

you gettin it yet? my technical knowledge clearly surpasses yours, dont waste my time, but thx for the actual response, more then what i tought id get.

i got this once, mind you, ONLY once in a cw. running windows 7 home 64bit - single monitor. i'm pretty sure it's not based off of the monitor but may just be a sporadic cf glitch. i can only really hypothesize though and considering it seems to happen more often for you.. maybe try to reinstall the game? seeming as if that's z8's solution to everything lol

ye i dont wanna reinstall the game, as it happened before...then my hd died...got a new one..fresh install of everything..and it still happens... (and auto patcher fails so hard) so not gonna waste my time....and i doubt they fix it or even inform us of the issue. Its just nice to know im not alone ^)
