Cant get crossfire to start!

i manage to get the first screen up, though all the update areas and pictures come out white. then when i hit the start button, it fails on initializing xtrap. any ideas on why this is happening?

yeah i noticed that it all came up in admin to...any clue how to change screen resolution in admin? i used safemode with networking to get on as admin, but i cant see the start button and cant change the screen size through properties on desktop
