File is changed error amongts other problems.

So first off, my friend texts me and says he can't patch Crossfire. So I get on and try to patch mine, it patches fine and starts to load up. Then AVG said Crossfire is a virus. So I uninstalled and reinstalled Crossfire, with AVG disabled and the folder in the exceptions list. I go to patch crossfire on my new install, and I kept getting disconnect errors while patching. Finally, it eventually patched all the way and stats to load up again. But then I get the File Is Changed error every time now. I have tried everything. I have uninstalled and deleted the folder and reinstalled numerous times, with all my antivirus disabled every time. I go the the very annoying disconnecting patching process until it finally completes the patch. And still the same "File is changed error" every time. I am out of options. I do not know what to do.

Can anyone help me?

just download the game again and re-install it... then you guy can play

Yo,this is kinda scary because downloading the game again,reintalling,removing all the files
the error still alive,i have never seen something like this,but the most scary is that its happening with SOME players,i have friends that still play with no error,WHAT THE **** Z8?
