same problem here. stop telling us to unintall and stuff because is not our fault or our pc's. the game was doing fine 4 hours ago now fix this.

I am also having this problem.. I un-installed the old version and then downloaded the new one form the first wet coast mirror. My AV was running but I have it in silent/gaming mode.

The file install initially caused my newly reformatted hard drive to crash with a blue screen of death. I ran it again and it installed but I am still getting that dang error message.... I am running XP Pro and the game worked before the servers went down for maintenance. It's been over 4 hours so I am assuming the maintenance is done. I checked the server status page and it still shows the login server is down? Anyone know if that has anything to do with this??

It should not be necessary to turn off your AV program for this.......

why write tahat this problem is SOLVED?? its false ..i play crossfire daily but this problem is carzy... so be so kind and solve the problem it!!! how repair this eror...:)

Re-installing (even without AV) doesn't work.

Great job on the niew updates. This is not the first time this problem occured. Great job on letting us players re-install the whole effing game EVERY time there's a new update.

Maybe the next update should content fixing your update bugs. >__>
