What exactly do I do....?

I was playing Crossfire just about an hour ago, I left for a short period to do something, when I returned, it said it had lost connection to the server, so I clicked "ok", after this, I see another message saying it failed to reconnect to the server, again, I clicked "ok", after clicking that, Crossfire closed itself, I then clicked the Icon once again, and clicked start on the box that came up.

As it went through the patcher like it always does, it reached an error saying that it could not connect to the server, it continued with this error several times.

I read on here to uninstall it, re-download it, and reinstall it... I did that.

Now I no longer have the server error, now I have an error claiming that the .exe file has been changed (when it hasn't, I haven't hacked crossfire ever, and have no plans to), so I read on here that this a patch failure, and to reinstall.

Well I reinstalled, and it is continuing with giving me this error.

I know it is not my computer, not my router, and not my firewall, for none of those have changed at all, and it worked all the way up until just an hour ago...

I really like Crossfire a lot, and have put a lot of work into getting the guns and other items I do have (Thompson submachine gun, M60, Spas-12, Steyr Aug, etc), and would hate to no longer be able to play it.
