Very bad ribbon "showdown sheriff"

I think it's a pretty bad event too. As you can see I do come on the forums occasionally but I didn't hear anything about it until it was actually thrown on the patch message. Which is where ALL relevent game information needs to be. It's the only thing people that actually play the game are going to see.

Second mistake is no one was able to use the codes that were already released and you didn't make new codes for the locations where those codes were so people couldn't even find codes for themselves. Basically you said "Hey guys do you want to play this game we made? Oh you do want to play? Too bad you can't!"
Third mistake is after it was already dead you keep pointing to a code on the ribbon screen that's unuseable. What's the point of leaving one dead code up and removing the others? That's just poor design. Which leads me to your...
Fourth mistake. The website is designed horribly. There are two versions of it with two different menu bars and you can't ever get to the one you need that has all the pages you're putting these codes on. When you do get to it, it constantly links back to a different website with an old menu bar. Get a decent website developer for Christ's sake.
Fifth mistake is that you're going to cut it off before most people will even have a chance. I think this is a mistake that's made with a lot of your events though. You don't give people the time or ability to complete them. My comp went down for a month and I missed out on 2 events/2 ribbons I would've enjoyed participating in but now there's no way to ever play in those events.
There's got to be a way you can make these events more inclusive. Take MMO questing for instance. You have the same quest but everyone can attempt it at different times when they're ready or know about it. You should be able to create some kind of system like that. See when ribbons came out I thought they would be more like that. "Score 100 pistol kills in an hour." or "Kill 3 mutants in one game." things people would always be able to accomplish. They just have to be good enough and try to do it. Instead you went a different route.
Oh well. I look forward to a good MMOFPS eventually. -

yeah, but this is suposted to be a Patch event, like "A Hero Emerges"stay calm, the Cross Fire Film Award 2011 is possessed by MUCH LESS than 1000 people!
and I just checked after being away for awhile and i see my Military Intel. was taken away and removed from the list.....um? what the f***?
as much time and money I have spent with the game, im just about to throw it away. my ping has gone from 32 in the beta to 90 right now.... yeah.... it takes 14 rounds HITTING someone with an ak-47 to kill them...
Z8 has been messing around with making FPS drop like a stone and ping shoot up to make us all BRs. yeah.... when you have 90+ ping you get problems.... I Can't even stand to play a match because NOTHING registers. and im not about to spend $200 a month extra to get insane internet when the servers where 1/3 of the lag before.
If I can Play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 with 150+ ping and NOT lag, why should i put up with CF giving me 90 and I HAVE to use a gatling gun to kill something as simple as a box.... I might as well go re-download and play CF china if this is what z8 is going to do.... at least I know that I will lag.
how did you guys mess up your servers so bad? ......stop downloading/hosting pr0n...
If this isn't fixed soon, im just gunna go play BattleField3 when it comes out, and try to get as many people as I can to leave CF since a LOT of people are getting sick of the lag and no reg.
but, back on topic....
this is supposted to be for the may patch event... z8 could make the codes expire @ a time instead of how many uses. when you put rewards like that on it, People are going to redeem it just to get it even tho they already have the ribbon. and from what im looking @ im going to have to be stalking this page all hours of the day? um... I don't know about you but I work for a living. meaning "1 Haz J0b" and night shift doesn't make it any easyer.
Bottom Line: Fix your "lag" servers and ether remove the redeem limit and put a timelimt for redeeming or just remove the event as this is turning out worse than Millitary Intel. (which I thought should have stayed for the people who already had it..)

Ive hit 8 of them so far. Some poped up at like 5am my time and I still got them.
You just have to pay attention or have a group of friends on the lookout -
i like how they're being fair and all about those that live in other countries, but the fact that the codes disappear so quickly is the reason why everyone is complaining.
Whats the point in making every ribbon easy to obtain? Some exclusive hard to get ribbons are nice when you get them. If I didnt get it, id shrug it off as it wouldnt actually matter. In no way does it affect your game. -

Most were released at a ridiculous time for me in the UK, as stated before. Everyone had the same chances to get them.i know it doesnt affect the game at all, its just the fact that it is literally impossible to obtain for some players, even some (like me) that go on the forums everyday. and im not asking for a ribbon that would be easy to obtain, just something that is reachable for the average forumer.
It was reachable to the average forumer. They were released at random times. They werent always released when people were at school ect. A few were released over the weekend asweel. -

Doubt it will happen. Its going to be a hard to obtain ribbon and it will stay that way. Like I said. Theres more than 10. You need 5. Rather than complaining here, look for the rest that havent been found.

Who said? They may have been released now, whilst you were complaining. Theyre released randomly.
And even if theyre not. Thats still roughly 3 or 4 codes left out there to find tomorrow onwards -
