Improving Crossfire Graveyards?
From the link below you can see how the developers of Crossfire handle players bodies after they have been killed. It seems that there is a spot hidden off the map that dead bodies will appear at.

You all know that when you shoot someone you see that their body disappears shorty after hitting the ground (now you know where it goes).
Here is the problem: Over time a great deal of overlapping bodies can appear at this location causing your in-game performance to be reduced and perhaps even lag the game.
Here is the solution: I have no solution for this problem. The bodies have to go somewhere. Perhaps you guys have some suggestions about how to deal with this?

Seeing as though 90% of you on here are incompetent, I did not expect any useful feed back from you all in the first place.
The only things that appeal to your types are useless suggestions in which someone posts the picture of a weapon they want in the game and gives stats about it.
Maybe I'll make a thread about adding a pitchfork melee weapon to the game O_O -

That would actually be kinda cool and for halloween they could have devil costumes that people can get XD.
OT- Idk why they need a graveyard for the bodies or the weps. Why can't they just code them do fade completely, say 5 seconds after death(for bodies) and 30 seconds for weps. -
LOL To be honest I am not sure whether this is true or not but I think his suggestion is good.(If the problem is real that is.)Assclown321 wrote: »From the link below you can see how the developers of Crossfire handle players bodies after they have been killed. However, with this problem in hand, what do you propose to do with them instead? Transport the bodies to an imaginary server full of bodies? I think not.
How did you even figure this out in the first place?!?
