Feeling ripped off by the Black Market? RESPONDS

If you say the Black Market is a lottery, then where are the odds of the winning? We want to know the odds of people winning guns from the Black Market. For example, the odds of a $1 scratch off ticket is like 1:4.

here's the post i'am responding to http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=39663

  • Well, if your comparing to scratch tickets, which don't give a 1:4 ratio for the 'grand prize' just a ratio to win, in such a sense its 3:1. Since you win 3 items for your spin.
  • eh..there are no odds..all about luck..Since this is a system. It spits out the grand prize whenever.
  • we want to know the odd's of winning the main jackpot even the power ball lottery has the odd's of winning the jackpot
  • Again, they say it's a lottery but in fact, it's a scam. I'm certain when accounts are created there is a predetermined luck to that acc towards black market. So someone that blows a ton load of cash on BM and wins shet basically has one of the unlucky accounts.

I highly doubt a company as stingy as Z8 would make it based on luck. Of course they would scam you.

F$&K z8games and all the associated companies.

there are odds to everything. its just that no one will actually waste their time figuring the odds of winning the best prize
  • they made the game they should know the odd's
  • i have to agree with you...i am pretty sure about that too. i have a friend who spins to a certain spot in each crate and within 10-30 crates, she wins. where as in my acct i have to spin all over the place in order to win, i have been so close to winning the awm RD -.- iv been one away 2 times. i wish they didn't let you see the sides of the crates. its almost cruel.
  • they made the game they should know the odd's

Correction, Z8 didn't make the game, they just host it.
  • if u able to make patches for the game u should know the odd's

and im not *****ing im just asking whats the odd's of winning the main prize
  • Correction, Z8 didn't make the game, they just host it.

And I'm sure no one in Z8games would know anything about the hardcoding this game has.

If I go to the local car seller, he sure can't tell me anything about what's under the hood as well. He better does, as a matter of fact.
  • With all due respect talonblaze...we dont care who made the game...we just want to know the odds -.-

well the devs obviously didn't tell anyone.

You'd have to ask the devs. Hope you speak Korean.

If only thats how the real world worked 100% of the time. Bet if you asked what was the ingredients of most fast food restaurants to a cashier or employee, chances are they will only give you what they 'think' it is. Whether its right or not. Or going to a department store with certain goods asking them the chance of a product being faulty. I think most of the time they won't know.

Well its the people who made the game that would know, not the guy who is told to merely sell the product.

So your employers make a profit off a game they don't know anything about, as you put it.

Well thank you; no more questions, your honor.
  • sooooooo...if your "the guy that merely sells the product" then why are you trying to explain that the black market is not a rip off when in all reality you have no idea yourself? O.o

I love it when people assume that because one thing isn't stated they apparently know 0% of the product at all. Funny case, I really hope you aren't trying to be a lawyer. You really won't hold up well in that field.

If i knew, why would I withhold that information?
  • The crates are pure luck. You really can't assign a "chance" to them...BUT

I have found out 3 things that might affect crate winning

    FIRST, the time.
Have you ever noticed that every once in a while, there are strings of wins?
Well I have noticed that that falls on the 15 minute marks of the hour. Maybe it's just coincidence, but I think it's more! I saw the AK scope 3 times during this period (I spun like a week ago at :15 and :45 [but i never won ak scope boohoo]).

    Second, quota
In order to release the gun, a certain number of buys of the crate must be made to "unlock it"

    Third, spin position
I noticed that when I spin in the middle I see the AK scope a lot meaning maybe it is won by spinning in the middle. This one's pretty iffy. I'm not sure about it. Can I get some assurance/negation on this?

These are just thoughts. They might be wrong or right. But I kinda have credentials (every gp crate, nearly all zp crate except ak scope, seasonals, and RD weapons)
I'm just so mad i don't get the AK SCOPE!!!

people who complain about the bm being a rip off buy 50 crates and expect to win something every time.

the whole point of the bm is so you would spend a lot of money to get something.

Preposterous at best. But you already hinted that you don't know anything regarding those mechanics, yet I wasn't asking about anything else than that; but you don't know, apparently. In court, it wouldn't stand as you necessarily discrediting me, more about me making you admit you don't know the answer of my question.

And you're clearly evading it, by the way. So are you going to lecture me endlessly about Z8games knowing this and that or are you finally going to answer my question clearly?

You don't know anything about how the Black Market works, do you?
  • we wants odd's of winning thats all

I hate to break it to you, but you won't find any here.

exactly -.- go research marketing...you might learn something
  • 100 Crates on the Gatling gun , And i saw the Gatling gun 1 away like 6 times,
    =)

    ign: *Hope_
    clan: invisible
  • then dont post in a thread that wants answers when you have non :) your a mod. people will assume you know things that we don't.

You don't know anything about how the Black Market works, do you?

Of course I do. Each computer is inputted a code, that code determines the 'random factor', typically a ratio. However since it has to be programmed, no computer can ever be random since it calculates everything else before hand to generate the number, thus either giving you your minor prize or if the number comes up for you, the major prize.

That's how any randomly computer generated lottery is made.

So what's the ratio? You aren't giving me anything factual, just the presumption that's how it works.

Just admit it, you don't know the exact numbers.

    Let's leave it at that.

Exactly. The guy who's arguing with Talonblaze, just stop it.
I doubt the Dev's even know the ratio...it's all random

IT's like if you flip a coin...odds SAY you should get 1/2 tails and 1/2 heads, but you might get 20 heads and no tails. It's random Computer Gen.

You asked me how it works. Never said I knew the ratio. :p

    Fine, then you don't know.

SO the claim of the black market being a ripoff is still alive and defend-able.
