HWC Socket error

Every time i try to log in i receive the following error at either 66 or 73% "HGWC Socket error: W[2000] L[10053]".
I've been searching the web for the last two days trying to find a solution to fix it and i have done everything from, re-installing the game from different hosts, restarting my computer, checking my router to make sure all the ports i needed were open. I have replaced the hgwc and xfire root files, checked my firewall. I've done solution i have found on the web and none of them seem to work. Any help would be appreciated.

It's not the internet, I've tried it at my house, my college, and Starbucks. Get the same error everywhere i go.

Scan your PC for viruses
They may be blocking somehow

try this

This is what i did, i went into Z8 program files, and clicked on the HGW thing till it says, "its already running", then i clicked start on crossfire, then i kept clicking on HGW like every 10 secs or so, the error came again and stuff but it eventually mines went to 100%, try that, it might work for you too, cause mines also freezes at some numbers. ( could be just keep restarting? i might have done it the long way, never know)

oh yah, i was doin it the long way, prolly just gotta keep restarting crossfire client when it stops, try that.

I've tried restarting the client every time it freezes. That doesn't work either.

Try restarting your computer and internet.

Just Reinstall and when your done, delete all the files.. then re download it again..
