Do you think CF is diying?
Well, lately i've seeing that CF is slowly being abandonned by players, as expected, since the natural player cicle continue, but the community in the forums is getting smaller, weaker than before, so, i'm wondering, are you guys just playing the game to play it? No more that "OMG this game is sooo cool and funny!" feeling?
Do you think other games are getting the attention that CF had?
Nevermind CA, it's going to die in a hole anyways, but A.V.A. is getting stronger as it grows (people buying new computers and going to better games), and paid games like the ones launched not a long while ago got the attention from many pc players (greatly awaited sequels like call of duty or portal), do you think this game will slowly fade and die?

Yeah first, tastylimes gone, than kaycee, only a matter of time before i'm gone, I wouldn't say the game is dying, at least the foreigner side, they should honestly switch the forums to Portuguese, yes cf is losing the north american side of players but that is only a small portion to begin with so it doesn't really hurt z8's pocket. There are just better games for NA people now, I don't blame people not wasting their time with this one.

1. Make a noob account
2. Go to rookie server
3. Everyone has 300+ ping
4. ???
5. CF dies
If CF blocks BRs now, they loose 80% their players, and all of this could have been avoided if they had blocked them early.

It's not going to happen, too many of you guys, this is pretty much how it is in every room, it starts to get maybe 70% BR around 2 A.M. but honestly I'm not going to stay up just to place CF with a few less BR's I hate to go on BR's but it's really the main reason this game is dying for NA, they're in the same time zone, we'll never get our NA Only server, it's something you look at and pretty much say oh well. It's a lost cause.

LOL, that's a bad game, but they're like that 99.9% of the time.
If only forumers room had been successful. I mean the one where someone made a stickied thread for forumer rooms. -

that cicle generates a form of hate towards eachother in our own game (tough they are some ip-camo'ed guys from NA that want to get revenge on us by cheating on our rooms), making people quit owr CA version (wich would have a way greater population if the cheating issue was controlled) and go to other games, like CF, just to encounter other people cheating.
so frustrating >.>

Low graphics are part of the problem. Since anyone with a calculator can run CF. -

I doubt most people will keep spending money in this game for much longer.

If Z8 ever decides to ban BRs, most of the old players will most likely return if they find out. Even if only on the first day, but allot might stay, enough to get CF running right again.

tl;dr - Use to be fun :rolleyes:
This game use to make me wanna just sit at home all day. Me and couple buddy's would just sit on it all day. Staying up all night just to patch ect.
But as the game progressed with patch after patch of things causing old issues to either worsen or present a new problem. It just grew frustrating.
Not gonna lie watching a ghost run around with an awm was quite comical compared to where the game sits now. I mean pings back in the day were not as bad. Ya you had some laggers. But shots seemed to reg better ect.
Butter Bars were like almighty seemed so far away. Remember when there was like no guns to choose from.
But all in all it was a good two years to some degrees met some awesome people along the way. But there is much better games out there to be played. Crossfire does though have a faster pace to it then most games.

well, i like the fast pacing it has, and the aiming system it has, with a good and smooth kind of recoil, and actually some decent equipment for free, as expected from a free to play game, unlike some other games wich have a strange kind of aiming system (like CA) or require real currency to do good in the game (point blank)
wish we had a graphic and gameplay remasterization of CF, actual global servers, like, US servers with one server for each channel, brazil server with one channel for each state, and it goes on to china and such places... all in the same pack...
we can dream, but only to shatter in the ground after we wake up... -

Immaturity is a problem, but no were near close to BRs.
Compare the anti-BR threads to the immaturity threads.

they want people to pay to play this game, that's their problem, they should incentivate us, but not force us to -

Yeah, the only events that give decent prizes are tournaments, and only a couple of people win.
I mean, even for some events, the top prize is a 7-day spray. -
people think its BRs that are the problem. no they're not. its people who are 18 or younger who have nothing important to do so they forget that this is just a game so they act like immature dumbasses by taking this game to seriously.Graphic improvement is a NO for me.

well its not BRs, its foreigners in general that are part of the problem.It's a game, meant to be enjoyed, most BRs ruin the game for people.

what i mean by taking this game too seriously is people saying "do that on client" or starting thread with the op being as long as a novel telling people stories on how this guy killed that guy in a suspicious way, and then having the thread go on for 10 pages with the same 2 people arguing on whether the guy cheats or not. -

Yeah, that gets annoying, but as long as there's foreigners, they won't stop.
And even if we do get a US only server, people will find a way to complain about it. Like for example, "No fair, the server is east, what about us west coasters".
And IF they make US only server, I doubt they'll make more for the different areas.
No matter what, people will complain, we just have to learn to deal with it.
