the end of crossfire fun time
I played this game since 2009. but now I decided to finish it . today i played six times and all six times where was hackers in the room, z8 dont care about that , they just make new updates for zp guns and so on , sad coz i loved this game, long time ago were was list of banned players but now u even cant write word hacker , well thats big improvement. they cant fix simple bugs like on ee map so that we can talk about banning hackers ,yes thats to hard for z8.

Z8 does try hard, you need to keep sending in claims or whatever, you need to do something (as in send a report) so Z8 can do something (as in ban)

z8 admin should pay more atention to their players, I mean I love this game I've also been playing it since 2009, and I've spent money on crossfire, AND I DEMAND THAT Z8 ADMIN DO THEIR BEST TO KEEP HACKERS AWAY OR SOON PEOPLE MAY START TO GET TIRED FROM HACKERS, AND MANY WILL LEAVE THE GAME. CROSSFIRE PLAYERS HAVE PROBABLY GIVEN AWAY MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO YOU Z8 AND THIS IS THE RESPECT YOU SHOW US?!! IF THIS IS THE WAY ITS GONNA BE, I GUESS IT WON'T BE ONLY ONE PLAYER TO LEAVE CF FOR EVER. If you don't start paying atention to your devoted players in about 1-2 years your income will decrease drastically, and once it does, there will be no turning back, mark my words. -

and its not Z8 fault, its xtrap fault, they just haven't had a update yet to stop the BRs & Turks from hacking up the place
yes yes thats not z8 fault :DDD so can u explain why z8 changed anti hack system(game guard to x-trap)???before was not so bad, if x-trap cant take control, so just change it were are a lot of another anti-hack systems. and why z8 cant actively monitor servers and ban hackers, i think z8 could find some volunteer to help at this place well actually z8 gets a lot of money so why they cant add some to game??? -

if you knew anything about Game Guard or if you were even around like i was back then, you would know GG updated every 3 months or more, xtrap updates every month. the game is a hell of a lot better off without game guard, this is something you fail to realize.

I read a lot of b*tching and moaning, but you're not being fair, nor realistic. What do you expect Z8games to do about these hackers, other than what they have been doing so far? There is no law that can be enforced to prosecute hackers. Each time a team of expert programmers at X-Trap have wracked their brains to stop a series of hacks from entering this game, another team of expert programmers goes to work to get them back into the game. That's right, kid. The low-lives that make hacks are programmers too. Some more skilled than others. And as long as Crossfire can't strike at the heart of the hydra, all it can do is cut off heads that keep growing back. In other words, as long as Crossfire can't deal with the hack-makers, all they can do is ban hack-users, which is a never ending process.

yes ban hack-users for 3 hours thats patheticThat's just X-Trap's auto-ban system. X-Trap don't have the authority, nor the insight to hand out permanent bans. That's what Z8Games and their report system is for. Z8Games can review reports, and has the authority to hand out permanent bans where needed. All X-trap can do, is detect software that is somehow interfering with the Crossfire game. This could be hacks, but firewall or virus scanning software as well. It would be kinda sad if X-fire started handing out permanent bans, just because of your choice of virus scanner, am I right?

look bic boi, AvA is nothing like crossfire, they don't even run the same game engine, lets get that out of the way first, now back when suba ran the game we used Game Guard and it was sh;itty it did almost nothing to stop hackers and it patched every 3 months -

I don't get the point of hac,king. What... does it make them feel like a GOD? cause if that's what they are trying to do then your dead.The issue is money. To pay for a weekly patch-up, you need money. To have a large team of employees work around the clock to fixs everything, and deal with all the hackers, you need money. Right now, most of the money that comes in at the Z8Games office goes straight to the Koreans for the use of their product. With the petty cash that is left, employees and development is paid with. Also, CF NA/UK doesn't have the big sponsor deals that the Asian versions have. Over there, this game is a real business. Over here its more of a glorified hobby.

yes and now everything perfect coz we have x-trap X-Trap indeed greatly reduces hacking. But like I said before, its like a virusscanner provider battling people making viruses. Every time 1 virus gets stopped by the scanner, the maker of that virus tries to make a new virus to by-pass the scanner.

If you played since 2009, (which I also have). Then you should be used to hackers by now. Heck when this game just got out of open beta don't you remember all the hacks, I didn't see anyone QQ, we just kicked or just left or just owned them ourselves.
Speedhackers are fail anyways. -
If they could ban by MAC address rather than just the account they would have to by new hardware to open another accountWhat you need to know is that..x-trap =/= z8games.
Z8 can't do anything except ban players who break their policies. But with the increase of nubs making new accounts..banning them won't work.
so goodbye.
Update : in another post i had asked others if it was posible to ban by MAC address and i was shown a web site that sells a program to change your MAC , so this method is about a usefull as IP banning . Carry on soldiers.
