Restart the client.
If it fails again, retry.
If it fails more than 3 times in a row launch this file via 'Run' or 'Search'
C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire\patcher_cf.exe - hopefully it should patch better.
if still no luck, try reinstalling and downloading FRESH COPY.
