If you can extend your budget to $600 you can make a custom i3 pc. The i3 is much better than core 2 duo. And custom pcs are always cheaper/same price with more quality.

tell us what you want, choosen part or combo, what you need as hardware, what you have actualy, it will help out.

So what you want in your computer.

Fan, Minimum ram, hard drive minimum capacity, kind of games you would like to run, or software.


Do you need case fan, ram fan (useless for most of people), hdd fan (useless for most of people) , What country you're living in, does the price include the shipping or not ?

Mobo: Do you have a brand you prefer ? personally i prefer asus for mobo.

Software:
Cooling:
Cpu: (do you intend to do lot of things at the same time or just concentrating on 1 thing.)

Case: do you want it with led/fan/window/basic ?

stuff like that.
