Gatling Gun movement restriction.
I'm mostly asking the owners of Gatling Guns but feel free to put your own opinion.
What do you think, does the Gatling Gun really need the movement restriction, or should it be removed? In my opinion it needs to be gone, because it takes an otherwise decent gun and turns it into something that is worse then the Uzi.
So do you think it would be overpowered without the restriction, or does the restriction need to bite the dust for ruining such a wonderful tool of death?

From my experience, the gatling gun is just way too accurate at full spray, especially at long distance with a huge ammo reserve and good damage. The slow down is needed or else it be a oversized m12s.
If you want a real challenge, use a real heavy weapon *cough* M60 *cough*. -

It definitly isnt...
But whatever... The startup sucks. You cant even move when your in it. -

I'm not hating, but have you really ever used the gatling? The spray is accurate for about 15-20 feet. After that its strictly burst fire.
But your intitled to your opinion. -

The gattling gun seems pretty balanced for what people use it for: killing in MM/HM while camping/ cornering and for spraying in GM, all things it does well. However, I want to see the spread made bigger, like many others, since there's no way in hell that thing should be that accurate... unless its a http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIqTO6mVJyg in which the case, I think the fact that thin women in heels can carry the damn thing means that they shouldn't be able to move much anyways

Personally many people thing that when fire u move slower is "a bug".
But truly it isn't it, Its just recoil of gun. Normally when u fire a gun you would see gun move around a bit to display its recoil. But Gatling gun doesn't display its recoil in that manner instead, It displays in the form that it restricts the user movement.
Thing about this way Gatling gun is huge gun which has huge bullets. So when fire it, where does all that energy go off when bullet is fired?. That's right user. Thus making user Gatling gun even slower when they fire the gun. -
Your rlly smart... Not.. The gatling is harder to use cuz you cant spray right at the moment you see someone it has a loading time which means it will be harder to use the recoil and stuff might be lower its still harder and i think the m60 is easy. From my experience, the gatling gun is just way too accurate at full spray, especially at long distance with a huge ammo reserve and good damage. It's only used in HM and MM and barely anyone use it even there
it's only a gun for collections
Not really i use it in GM/SND -

ammo and spray are insanly good
in mm its pure madness and rocks the ****
as already said, without the moving restriction it would be an 150/300 m12s
1. It has 150/150
2. It has pretty bad spray so it is not at all like the M12s.
3. Like I said its freakin heavy even without the restriction you move as slow as you would holding 2 M60s. -

Just having the gun in the game disturbs me a little. Every other gun is real and can ACTUALLY be carried by a soldier. There is no "ultraportable" version of the minigun. All of the equipment, inluding ammo, batteries, and the gun itself easily when in at around 700 pounds.
If anything the movement restriction should be increased. You should only be able to use it from a fixed position...like a mounted gun.
