top 5 headsets ?

currently my headset is tempramental some times the mic works fine then sometimes it doesnt, i beleive its due to a faulty connection with the mic or wires etc, anyway im looking to buy a new one, price range 0-150 euros. suggestions ?
top 5 headsets based on:
sound quality
microphone quality
durability/well made
price
and anything else that i missed

I haven't tried either but I heard the Steelseries 7H and Siberia are pretty good.
I'm on a Creative HS-450 myself. Sound and mic quality are both good. As for durability it has it's flaws but it won't crumble if you drop it a few times. I got mine for about €30,- I believe.

Sennheiser is one of the best

I'd check out the 555, or the 595.

But I don't know much

ask tasty or one of the people from LPK.

Or just search around a bit.

Ahh, well for that, me and KryxisAlpha both use TurtleBeach EarForce x11.
They're made primarily for the XBox 360, due to their 7.1 audio, but work (even better imo) just as well for PC. Microphone's beast too.

Game have them for £34.99, GameStation sell for them £39.99-£49.99

thanks, the reveiws look pretty promising and specs are good. cheaper than pc 360's

fatal1ty mkII by creative, it has 7.0 dont know why there's no subwoofer, but it pumps out the bass, so you have to put bass management on, then it's pretty accurate for a cheapy, was 50$ for me, usually it's 100 so you gotto find a good sale

What a silly thread...

Beyerdynamic MMX 300 completely demolishes any other headset on the market.
Need 5.1 surround? Pair it with a Mixamp (requires dolby digital live output) or use Creative's X-Fi CMSS 3D-Headphone.

Of course, most people here can't afford a MMX 300...no wonder why only a few CF players have even heard of it....

PC360 is by far the best gaming oriented headSET. The MMX300s and PC350s are a close second. I personally suggest you also try the DT880s, the HD555s/595s, the AD700s, the AKG k701s or k702s or the Dennon d2000s if you wanted the best Soundstage/sound signature available and therefore, the biggest advantage available. They're infinitely superior than anything Razer, Creative, Steelseries, Plantronics or Roccat make.

And there's no such thibg as an MX300 earbud/earphone/IEM. It's the CX300 you were thinking about from sennheiser, the bloated bass IEM pice of ****.
