Sup with smokes?

I thought the purpose of smoke grenades was to get through enemy lines or make a flank undetected. Being able to see red crosshairs and nametags through smokes makes them as useless as Anne Frank's drumset. Might as well call it an FPS dropper and ban it for being an unfair advantage to players with bad computers.

I cant find one good use for smokes. If I had my way, they wouldnt be in the game at all... theyre an annoyance.

not to mention, that spops and stars heads are visible in smoke. same with sia?
but when already talking about fps droppers, the trees in forbidden palace are much worse than smoke

It's useful for S&D and Elimination, especially during clan matches. If the opposing clan is filled with try hards, they become extremely useful.

I never knew if they were of any use until the first time I fought a try hard clan.

Two words; Ghost Mode.

Though with the latest patch, even its effectiveness there is a tad shy.

Maybe for Ghost Mode its ok. But in regular modes, its useless. Why the hell can you see name tags and color changes in your crosshair through smokes. All you have to do is look dead into the smoke until you see red and spray like hell.

And? Still harder to aim.

Smokes can be used as a distraction and/or when a team is pushing into a site, making sure they don't get picked from mid or something.

It's still harder to trace a target in smoke that an open target. I use smokes as my main grenades, wich allows to psych out the ennemy and often to p1ss off snipers. Works wonders.

Exactly. If you can use them well, you can stress the ennemy without getting yourself in trouble. This is called psyching out.

You guys think smoke is useless. Smoke is really useful at escape mode. Throw the smoke bomb at the exit portal and makes the enemy hard to detect you. Yea, you right. Red names and red crosshair might be annoying.

Use them in SnD when the bomb is planted or when you're trying to defuse
