i have 5k in it, its almost enough to buy enough gp for awm. so how do you use it?

You can't buy gp with it. You can only use BP for bonus items in the mall.

Bonus Points differ from regular zP, and you can only buy certain items with bP at this time. Here is the section of items you can use your BP with. Its also labelled as the Bonus Items section.
