Not sure where to post this but...
I'm getting a new laptop and I plan on playing this game, plus a few more like CS 1.6, CS:S, and CoD: 4 on this new laptop.
Here is the link of the laptop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115986
if posting links are against forum rules then here is a brief description of the rig (more like a mini-rig amirite?....... yep.. not funny at all but I tried):
Model: Acer Aspire AS5742G-6480
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
CPU Type: Intel Core i3-380M (2.53GHz)
Screen: 15.6"
Memory Size: 4GB DDR3 (Max memory supported is 8GB) (Memory type: 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM)
Hard Disk: 500GB
Optical Drive: DVD Super Multi (this doesn't even matter so disregard it)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M (dedicated card... duh)
Video Memory: 1GB (1024MB of dedicated DDR3 VRAM)
Screen size: 15.6"
Resolution: 1366 x 768
I kinda have a feeling that this will run Crossfire very well. I know that the Core i3-380M has Intel HD graphics integrated which means a dedicated NVIDIA card + Intel HD graphics integrated into the processor = somewhat beyond epicness.
However, I still want everyone's take on all of this before I buy it because I wanna use Fraps to record my gameplay and we all know how much the number of FPS can plummet when recording with Fraps.
