what are you specifications? I mean, you must have a pretty bad computer if you're getting 30 fps in crossfire.

giving me your specifications will also tell me if it'll be worthy to upgrade, or build a new computer altogether.

i have 1 good pc but the pc im on now is a peace of **** my good 1 is currently down and will be for about 2 weeks

but yea im looking to build another pc.
but im also right now wanting to see if u can improve my fps on this current shyt of a pc

what you need to do is throw that 1990's junk out the window. you can't upgrade, nor can you do anything to change your 30fps.

Exactly. I went from 100 fps, to constant 6 fps

I pretty much have to go in a TD match and spray my ak, then hope for the best

I'd go for higher quality parts tho, but that's just me. (you can build something much better for around $500-550)

Get a i3 2100 cpu with the new z68 mobos. there r some z68 gigabyte mobos going for like 120 on newegg. get 4gb ddr3 ram and 6850 graphics card. 500gb wd hdd and 600w powersuply. this should be a decent gaming pc.

pretty much that.

I'd prefer a GTX460 instead of it's near identical performing counterpart, HD6850. Also, it would be beneficial to go AMD in a mid-end budget like that (Phenom x4 over the i3)

I think you should take advantage of the new Sandy Bridge chips from Intel. The i5 2500k quad core processor demolishes any processor AMD has out. Yes, including AMD's Phenom X6's. AMD is two generations behind Intel.

Yea, AMD is lacking compared to Intel, especially since Sandy Bridge which literally stomps every processor AMD has to offer. I'm curious on how AMD's upcoming BullDozer is going to perform.

He's looking for a budget processor. Go with the i3 2100. If you are just playing CF, that should be plenty:

why would you go with the i3 over the Phenom x4? the i3 costs more and performs less, has two less cores and half the cache. As I said, anything sub-$200 and AMD is the better bang for the buck, anything over $200 and Intel is the better bang for the buck.
