Looking for a clan
Hey guys I am relatively new to crossfire but I am looking for a clan.
Past fps experience:
CAL-i CS1.6
CAL-i cod1/cod2
Cevo-p cod4.
I dunno how the competitive form of crossfire works, I assume 5v5 s&d, but I don't know if you have to buy relevant guns or whether they have a promod that gets outta that item shop type system.
I have vent, i'm older than 18, and i've led some very competitive fps teams.
I'd prefer a team that is mature and has strong emphasis on teamplay and good comms, i've played and followed the top team-based competitive fps games for a decade so I know the difference between being legitimately good and being a scrim allstar.

Competitive community is pretty much filled with egotistical kids

But yah, the leagues here are WOGL and ESL. CF is also participating in WCG
The leagues consist of 5v5 SD maps, 9 rounds a half and have specific rules of what guns and chars you can use. They vary from league to league.
But yah, welcome

Hey thanks for the information... do you have to already have purchased the guns from the item shop with gp or zp or whatever, or in league play are all the eligible weapons automatically available?
And that doesn't surprise me about egotistical kids and all lol... i didn't expect the competitive scene for an f2p fps to be as developed as something like cs1.6 in sweden lol. Maybe they need some old timers to show them how team based fps games are really supposed to be played though

You don't get any weps free in CF besides your starting weps and the USP handgun ( from "liking" CF via facebook )
The WOGL rules can be seen here :

As for "competitive" server, try playing echo 8. The pubs are pretty much ran by BR's nowadays, but the scrims are pretty competitive.
As for trying to find a team, try ringing for an E8 scrim, and if you do good they might want you to tryout. -

looking for new, talented and loyal ppl to start a clan with. we already are 3 members. if u want to start playing on a competitive level, just add me on xfire: 7kakashi
what u should have:
-cs 1.6 / css experience. ( esl experience is a +)
-u should be new to crossfire, we dont accept ppl who played more than 1 month
-dont be a clanhopper, a real team need real members who never give up and who are able to build up a perfect chemistry and routine
-dont flame, dont get mad during games, just call, be professional
-mature ( if possible 16+)
-u should have time every day at 7.00 pm gmt+1 to train with the team
-willing to learn something and to be motivated to reach the top
-respect other teams and other players!!
u think u got all of these points, only thing i dont know u as a person. clear is, u shouldnt be an egoist and die stupidly, because a top team is not build of ego kids
however add me on xfire im going to give u more information -
yea i played cs for 6 years too, and im pretty new to crossfire also. my goal is to build a team with ex cs css players, with much talent, and learn them to become top gamers. and also i think,a team which holds together since the beginning, is going to have more chances than a team build of some "good" know player, who play only on aim.
but ye everybody got his ideas, and this is my way to become professional

yea i was pretty young when i started playing. i saw my brother playing cs 1.6 and then he switched to css. after like 3 months ive practiced on his pc, i had my on pc and game and i started playing in his esl team. but i really dont remember how the team was called sry. it was 6 years ago, and it does not exist anymore. i followed also the professional eps and im always following the matches and downloading demos and doing tactic analyses. its really interesting. so i understood soon what simbolizes a real strong team.
