farm any advice on learning c# sadly my school kept canceling all my computer classes so iv had to teach myself alot

Go for it, just remember by the time u designed it, mine will be completely customizable by the user. And, as a little side note, for special events, the skin will change

The feature will "replace" the News feed currently on the clan website.
i dunno, i've been building programs in VS2008 for a while now

farm im horribly new to programming what compiler should i use?

or will visual basic automaticly compile for me like i said im horribly new iv been learning scripting instead

I'd use VB if your learning to program.

But as far as the clan information box goes, I need to know what the community thinks. I'd like to sell the clan information section for about $10 USD or CDN doesn't matter to me. IF server load exceeds my limit (which it might), I would have to charge $5 a month to pay for the web server. So if this does happen, you would have the first 2 months free because you already paid $10.

Now the question is, what do you want in the box?
(1)Full control, redirecting the website to YOUR website page.
(2)Updating it by e-mail.
(3)Updating it through a control panel that I build (web interface).
(4)Using the current clan NEWS on the CF clans website.(The news available to EVERYONE currently on the CF website)
(5)Using the current clan Messages on the CF clans website. (The ones that only the clan members can see, and post on,
Please note: I don't know how soon i could get this option running)

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

@ Giggletron: I do need to get a paid subscription website for the clan box, to handle all the traffic.

This could be done by donations or w/e, but I'm not paying for it since I coded the launcher from scratch. If you want to go without a paid subscription that's fine, but when it cuts out, just know I warned you.

@ naoStresses: There is no virus in case you haven't figured that out yet. I've gotten various people to test this, including mods, and I made sure Saidin knew about this before releasing it to the public. It is not an in game launcher, it merely replaces the old one.

Seems to not allow me to login.
Windows 7 64 bit.
Login button disappears after attempting to login, but still says I'm not logged in.

those all sound like good options to me though one feature id like to request is to display the clan leader when u log into the launcher as i am currently waiting to assume control over my clan and it would be a big help to save me from logging into the site and clicking like 5 links to view if iv finally recieved ownership

That's very possible, but may I ask if you are ever going to use this feature after you are the leader? If you are not, it may just make the launcher look over crowded

ok farm since i missed you in game (had to finish my missions) heres my full review

1.) its a bit slow to open the launcher
2.) clan news should be full of you clans own info
3.) very clean design with nice graphics
4.) love the features and would love the login to cf directly to be added
5.) is it possible to have a chat interface to the ingame chat?
6.) if so i would make it a tabbed area right above the clan news so you can switch between clan news and chat

all and all I igve it a 9/10 for great use and practicality as well as enormous potential

btw where did you get viual 2008?(can you send me a link?)
