games starting with uneven teams

I have noticed a few game recently that have been started with uneven teams which the game normally doesn't allow to start a game with, such as 3v1, or 7v3.

Does anyone know if this is a random glitch or if there is a hack floating around that will allow people to do this? If it is a hack, is it possible for z8 to be certain about who started the game from the replay? I know that I can't tell just from the replay but I don't know if they have a more in depth replay viewer for hack inspection.

    Basically, a match can be started by the host as long as someone on each team is ready.

    You might have six people ready on one team, and only one person ready on the other, but the match can still be started.

    The uneven team limitation only comes into effect when people join into a match that's already in progress.
