Sniper Rifle adv.
Hear me out... How about having a sniper rifle that's actually silenced?
It will be a small, compact sniper with 10-15 bullets per round with 30-35 in reserve. The weapon will be very similar to an m700 but semi-auto and will have 2 or 3 shots to kill and 1 shot headshot as always.
This will be a true combat sniper and will allow players to navigate around a map with a powerful-diverse weapon. The scope will have to be single scope mainly because of the size of the weapon and that it's made for closer combat even though it can be used just like an awm/dsr.
The reason for the power to be lacking is because it's a smaller gun, lighter and easier mobility and so on. The silencer will only be helpful for the slick and ppl who can get headshots often.
I would recommend this to be a permanent weapon and not a temporary and the fact that it doesn't kill with one shot should be more incentive to be closer to a gp weapon.

1st: there is no point of having a Silent Sniper in this game... Cuz u never hear it from so far away anyway!!!
2nd: If we removed the Silent part then u're talking about the PSG, PSG-RD, and the MSG Sniper Rifles that we already have in the game (only thing u'll be adding is the 10 rounds/clip)
so U want a Sniper like those ones but Silent and has +5 ammo...

My Opinion: -1
1st. If you have good headphones, you'll be able to hear the sniper from a good distance.
2nd. It's not a PSG or MSG. The power is lowered to a 3 bullet-kill but 1 bullet headshot which is why it would possibly need a +5 clip. Think of it as a hybrid between an ak and a awm but semi-auto like a dsr. It would be a great tacticle weapon for SnD and maybe even GM matches. Specially since players take damage rather quickly, the fact that the weapon would take 3 bullets to kill won't be as much of a drag.
I'm rather surprized they don't have something like this on other versions... -
That's because they drew a clear line between sniper and assault rifles for balancing purposes. The Knight's SR25 is the closed weapon that CF has to your suggestion. A semi-automatic sniper rifle with a faster rate of fire than the PSG/MSG, but with the damage of a M700. It however, only has 10/40 ammo, and no suppressor that I know of. I'm still hoping it will one day though.

Actually, there is not a "true-blood" suppressored sniper rifle... The only 2 that I come to think of(!) is VSS and Intervention...

That's kinda what I'm going for. Since they butchered the Winchy to death, at least bring in a sniper rifle that is similar to the winchy's real stats.
Type99 would be awesome but I think they might just butcher that as well if anything.
So maybe if I came up with a modern rifle that does the same damage or is similar to those type of stats, maybe they'll consider it. -
This is the best example that I can find. The bullet is smaller and it takes 2-3 bullets to kill and it's designed after the frame of the m16. It is the M110.That's virtually the same rifle I posted. The M110 is a customized Knight's SR25 (a rifle we'll be getting in the near future). Only difference is the adjustable stock and the rail system. Other than that, they are exactly the same.
