What gun should i get...

I'm not looking for sniper rifles, pistols, melee, SMG, MGs, or nades.

Assault rifles FTW.

I already have the QBZ, AK-47, Scar Light, M16 (:rolleyes:), M16A2, AUG Camo, and SG552 (i think that's what is is called.)

What gun should i get next? I'm not really an up and close person (my shotty does that just fine), so i'm looking for a relatively accurate gun.

btw, the M4A1 is considered, but i want feed back on some of the other assault rifles.

Advice?

g36 is desent but has been turned into a nub spray gun..m4's are always the way to go but alot of ppl QQ about em..a happy medium would prob be the k2 or...who am i kidding stick with the m4's XD

go for the tar-21 if you look for high RoF and a optic scope, go for the k-2 if you want an all round gun, and go for the m4a1 if you really liek the classicals ;p

A. Tar 21

The Tar 21 is a reliable all-range multifunctionnal weapon. It allows for prescise fire or marksmanship thanks to it's scope. It's recoil is also pleasant, allowing good stability and recoil control in most situations. It's power is average and it's ROF is slightly above average making up for this. Compact and not too heavy, it allows quick and fierce combat, be it rushing or sniping.

B. XM8

XM8 is a very reliable medium to long range weapon, oriented on defence. It got a pretty manageable recoil, although somewhat akward feeling while shooting on the move. But the key to it's usage is in it's two strongest points: railgun damage (over 70% through wooden surfaces) and it's short cooldown time. It allows for quick controlled bursts without loss of accuracy or control. The weapon can be used to countersnipe if needed, although using the scope can be a problem sometimes: The red dot in XM8's scope is effectively too big and sometimes it doesn't allows to place the needed headshot).

Look, I would indicate the M4A1 (I've used a lot), but compared with the weapons you already own, it is weak in firepower. But its accuracy is legendary in the game. Never heard anyone QQ about it. K2 I've seen people QQ. Saying it is super accurate and that is why OP. But never used it. Honestly, I would not trade anything for the AK! Have you thought about testing the weapons on the shooting range?

Xm8 for maximum wall bang ownage and pretty much an all purpose gun behind the steyr and the m4 custom.

try using the K12. it accurate and deadly. But i have found that the M4A1 Custom is very good in long range and close range.

XM8 is a damm good rifle.
It feels really smooth in your mouse if you know what I mean.
