Another posible suggestion to ease hack pains

What would be the feasibility of adding another server(s) and offer a pay per month subscription fee to those of us who would pay?
Also possibly incorporating stricter hacking rules on those servers?
I for one would be happier paying monthly.
another server nah.save your money. that is good for ya -

+1 i am willing to pay if it means that all the players on that server are legitimate it would solve many problems but it will probably never happen because its a free game isn't it?
EDITED. -

You hit the bullseye but also how can there be an absolute legit server if all we have is X-Trap and the hacks always find a new way in? -

Well, it's called "stricter" for a reason...>__>
I think you also totally bypassed the "pay" part of the opening post too...
If you put a "PAY" server next to a "FREE" server with the "PAY" one having GMs online CONSTANTLY making sure people are sticking to the rules, you FORCE the kids and hackers to play on the loose server...
Besides, the basic rules of anything is "play fair", but 90% of people in the world don't DO that because it's BS...you don't get ahead of anything without playing dirty every now and again...
The people who code VIPs saw an opportunity to make money and they took it...even though the rules say not to reverse or modify (or in some cases, to look) at the code, it's not like Z8 or anyone can really do anything about it....they pained themselves into a corner on their own terms and can't complain about hackers at this point.
All in all....who the hell would actually pay to play on a separate server ANYWAY...you already get jipped by trying the black market, what's to say they don't throw in ADs on the "PAY" server?
I'd rather get CoD if I was gonna pay for something...more content for less of a price if you think about it...at least they don't suck $100+ dollars out of your wallet for 3rd rate map design, cruddy late 1990's like graphics, an Engine that has MUCH MORE POTENTIAL then the SG team used for this game, a change at weapons which you seemingly never get no matter how much money you put into it, and a multitude of other problems...
With CoD, for 5 maps that look like it took them a good 6 months to fully design they charge you like $20...
With CF, for X maps that look like some High School-er who wants to be a mapper threw em' together to make well over $500 because of a rigged shop system backing it...
Pick one. -

Ditto. I suggest Live Viewing abilities for GMs.
Every time someone is reported (for Bug, Hacking, or Other in the options) it goes to the GMs moderation list (which they run in-game in a modified client for GM use only). They can then click on that report, go to the game and view said reported player without actually taking up a player slot or showing up in the Tab menu as "in the match"...that way, the hacker can't just whoosh out of the room the moment he see's "[GM]I'mGonnaBanYourAss" join the room he dips out.
GMs would have the ability to instantly ban on the spot.
That would be nice...wonder why they don't have it... -

Prolly because they would need 10 monitors or one big ass TV. :P
But in any case, GM's wanna play the game too wether publicly or descretly so in any case, they should be able to just watch them on a separate screen/client. So whenever they do die, they can watch some live footage...
On the other hand, it's alot of work to have something that X-Trap should be taking care of and if X-Trap does somehow weed out most to all the hackers the modified client and system wouldnt be neccessary anymore hence they just wasted their money. -
Yeah, lets add another challenge for hackers to get their kicks.
You clearly have zero understanding about what drives most hackers in this game. Some of them already pay a monthly fee to use their hacks. So what makes you think they would have a problem with paying a monthly fee to hack of this server? You seriously think that a hacker that is auto-aiming through walls is doing it because we'll think he's awesome for it? Or could it perhaps be that he's doing it to p*ss everyone off? And who would be p*ssed off more, a player playing against a hacker in a free 2 play game, or a player that paid to play hacker-free?

You think kids will listen to 'stricter' rules? They nigh-on always do the opposite of what they're asked anyway.
CrossFire doesn't have the man power to monitor servers 24/7, and the only way to reliably do so, would be to hire dozens of staff, whose paychecks would pretty much come to that of the subscription costs.
Waste of time for CF.Yeah, lets add another challenge for hackers to get their kicks.

I agree. Too much money noobs would go away.
And the ha.ckers would go hit that server instead of the normal ones. -

Open a room ,imput a password, tell your friends or trustworthy people. Enjoy. -

I think that the subscribers would probably kik hackers faster.
But then that leaves another problem. I would still be overkicked and since I was paying thta would probably tik me off more. -

The guys got a point X-Trap sucks. And if h4ckers get permanently banned for geting in they can make a new account and try a different websites h4cks to see if he can get in!!!! -
TrueHyperDaVinci wrote: »Oh gosh use common sense.
Half the servers are below half full.
And they are free.
A server with subscription would be almost empty.
Lol exactly if z8games would get rid of X-Trap and get a new Anti-H4ck program then we never would have to worry about h4ckers.
And every server would be full i bet...
