7,000Take those hard drives and put one SSD just for the OS, then 4 SSDs in raid 0, btw buying pre build systems is a waste of money.
My limit was 7000, and i am just not wanting to put the time to making my own, so this was the best custom made comp i could sc**** up. it wasn't pre-built btw. I had TONS of customization options. -

Nice pc I would kill you to get a pc like that but still 7000 dollars I would kill my self first to spend that much lol

resonable specs, but if you are going that high dont bother with a desktop, just get a server. my computer is from 1999, but cost 26,0000 new, and i dumpster dove it about a year ago. with a similar budget you could get
24 gigs ram
2 proccesors (3.8 gigahertz 4 core xeonons)
buy graphics seperatly, drop them in
10+ hard drives, hot swappable, so you can have raid to make it faster and more secure, instead of having 1 hard drive
probably a server will have less heating issues.
more expansion options, (from 1999 i have 2 agp, 10 pci, which is double the standard for the time.)
case is larger, more room for fans, water cooling ect.
