for a 500$ budget. I would pick up between a 35'' LED tv or a new graphic card + hd monitor.
you should actually get a 120hz monitor

Actualy I use an old 1gig (intergrated) Geforce full hd card but it's not as good as the new one XD I tought upgrading it by x2.
LG doesn't have a 120hz 1ms monitor
How is a 1 gig card integrated? if it's a card, it isn't integrated. -

That's a nice card man. Have you looked at some NVIDIA cards in that price range? -

Wait a sec does your mobo even have a pci 2 slot? -

What's the wattage on your power supply just to make sure?
considering he has an intel celeron, he probably has some ****ty prebuilt dell or something. He clearly doesn't have a quality power supply powering his computer. -

He says he isn't worried about power so I am just assuming his power supply is sufficient to power the 6950 and the celeron he mentioned is socket 775 also. So he just might be able to use that card with his computer. -

edit: and no it's not a dell it's just i didnt had money at time i build that computer and was mainly built for the sounds XD.
Give me your motherboard model.
Why are you even thinking of putting a 6950 in a celeron computer? do you know the term "bottleneck" because that's what's going to happen if you put a strong card in with a old, bad processor. -

Go for it then. Get the card and post some benchmarks. And since your board is lga 775, you might want to upgrade to core2quad or something lol -

No he doesn't, trust me. He doesn't even know what power supply he has.
I'm just trying to help you to not to waste $300 on a graphic that won't work properly and/or break. -

I can rebuild my computer from 0 to 1 but i just want to upgrade the graphic atm, the processor new cpu is already comming, and yes i use a 775 socket.
@tasty I guarenty you the graphic card will work. -

There's a difference between powering on, and properly working. Do you even know what kind of power supply you need? Do you even know how many amps you need on the 12v rail? You don't, and I'll be pitying you when that $300 graphic card melts your out dated LGA775 motherboard because your cheap-o power supply couldn't even handle it, which WILL be the case. You don't just stick a top-tier card into any computer, you need to have PROPER specifications. -

open up your computer and tell me everything you see on your power supply, name, watts etc. -
