Try going to your Cross Fire install folder and running "patcher_cf.exe". The game should start.

Actually it would serve us better if you can post the image on this board. I'll teach you how to do that.

1. Go to a photo upload site, like imageshack or tinypic.
2. Upload the photo, make sure the settings are like for message boards or around 600X800.
3. copy and paste the FORUM or BOARD link in a post here

For one calling people idiots isn't helpful for two your linked post won't solve the problem for anyone using windows Vista or using dual monitors.
I posted about the same problem it wasn't a magnification issue or a display problem I figured it out.... it was TEXT SIZE. When I changed it to a smaller text size the issue was resolved and I could see the start bar again normally.
Just my two cents... and I hope it was more helpful than calling people names.
