HGWC- "You cannot run this program directly".

I've been playing crossfire for 2 or 4 days now and it's been alright. Really liking the game. But as I open my computer today and as I try to open crossfire- I press Start Game and I get this "HGWC- You cannot run this program directly". Like c'mon WTH, does anyone know what I can do to actually start playing the game instead of me getting that ANNOYING message. Any help is much appreciated. BTW I have tried re-installing it and I didn't do anything to the files before this error came up.
(BTW no trolling on my grammar since I was in a hurry typing this.)
