The censoring in game is kind of ridicolous.

I don't think there should be a censor in the first place.... i mean even if i was spamming +18 movies (

) or hack websites around and they '.com. is censored, i can just do a ,com. You'd have to be pretty ret,arded not to know you put in the dot. And anyway, its the 12 year old kids that say fak this fak that fak yar mader. For every 'naughty' word there is many more ways of saying it.

Yes, but it doesn't mean happy nowadays. Nowadays terms 2 and 3 are the meanings.

Granted the old word filter was fine - censoring the more profane language. Noob isn't even a problem because there are so many other words to replace it - nub, newb, stupid idiot, etc.

However, I am royally angry that I can't make coherent sentences due to the stupid filter. Combo words like "guns hitting" will be blocked due to the sh.it in the middle. Single words like fake, aimbot, hack, afk, ridiculous are censored.

Also an ESRB rating of T allows infrequent use of strong language.

I think you're trolling but kids killing their family members/suicides have nothing to do with in-game cursing. Mentally unstable people will be unstable whether or not they play Crossfire.

EDIT: I saw reddeath's post, straight after I wrote this, and I agree that there should be an option to disable the chat censoring in game.

EDIT 2: If anyone thinks that I'm complaining, no I'm not. I'm just pointing out that it is pretty ridicolous at times.

If they did make an option for disabling the chat censor..then there would be point of the censor. And I agree that the censor is ridiculous ..

i guess the only way of a workaround is to all learn Portuguese and use that ingame. Some players already use this and there is no rule against speaking another language in game(or at least its not being enforced).
