.PNG Script Files
Hi there.
So this .ZIP has every single script file changed to accept .PNG files instead of .TGA files.
WHY?
Most people i've heard who are making mods have trouble with changing the images to .TGA and retaining full quality/transparency. It also means that more people can easily make mods or UI's and get them done on almost any available image editing software.
CAUTION.
This has EVERY file changed to .PNG, this includes the files controlling kill marks and some of the item icons. Unless you plan to change the kill marks/item icons to .PNGs yourself then do NOT include the files. The file controlling the kill marks is "GameIn.txt", look below for help with the item icons.
HELP! WHICH FILE IS MY IMAGE IN?
If you only want to use a few of the files for certain parts of your UI, the easiest way to find out which files relate to it is by searching for the file name in the script folder, DO NOT INCLUDE THE FILE EXTENSION WHEN SEARCHING. The script file that appears in the search will be the one that your image is in, copy it to your CrossFire folder when using the custom images.

I just completely did a forehead slapper- I didn't know CrossFire was capable of rendering .PNGs so I didn't even try- this changes A LOT... :P
(I'm implying I did a ****load [please pardon] of extra work to cope with the lack of transparency support- only to find this out...) -
because i said i'd release it yesterday to annoy you after you'd figured out how to make .TGA images properlyWhy couldn't you have released this LAST night, before I started making my UI >.>, jeez.
!
oh and the exploding chipmunk is necessary.
just saying, paint.net is the best program for rendering transparent .TGA images.I just completely did a forehead slapper- I didn't know CrossFire was capable of rendering .PNGs so I didn't even try- this changes A LOT... :P
