opinions on "overpriced gaming gear"

I'm used to a level of comfort that 'standard' items do not provide.
Excellent grip, low profiles, settings ad infinitum.



While anyone good of course can be at least close to equally good with standard gear, the extra bucks for "gaming" gear is just worth it for comfort alone.
To me at least.
