Motivating hack reports
Well, I've been thinking quite a bit about how we could cope with hackers. What I've come up with is we could come out with a new ribbon. The ribbon would be called "Bounty Hunter", and you have to send in a certain amount of successful reports on hackers. Also, after you get this ribbon; I think to continue to keep people motivated, give us some randomly generated item, virtual points of some kind. Anything really, just get us motivated. Personally, I report because I want a better, and fun game.
Cons: Probably have newb spammers. People making hack accounts to report them.
Other than all that, I think we could get some where.

I know it's all for motivation and what-not but there's nothing z8games should do to motivate us to do in all essence what X-Trap is suppose to be doing. My only motiv is that if the haker is using a zp weapon, item or character, then I'll think about reporting. But if it's a dummy account or if the person doesn't seem to have alot of zp, then I'll let X-Trap or undercover staff take care of them. -

i agree entirely. one of the main reasons ppl continue to hack is cuz they believe they will get away with it and its cuz of the lack of effort by ppl such as yourself to report them that they are correct.
another reason, and quite a very sad one at that, is they do it cuz most ppl wont kick them from matches. there are so many ppl that just assume someone is hacking cuz they are better players that understand more of the game than the accusers do. this leads to many ppl not trusting or believing when someone does call a person on an actual hack. my prime example is with Ghost Mode (which is my preferred mode) where just cuz i use headphones and can hear the breath of a ghost to locate them, they cry out "waller" or "hack" simply cuz they dont understand or know that pivotal aspect of Ghost Mode. There are plenty of good players that use headphones and they usually get accused of hack, so naturally they become hesitant to attempt a kick on someone simply cuz others cry "hack".
i realise that these "hackusations" will always occur no matter what and mainly cuz many ppl fail to understand the nature of the game or just think noone can be better than them. but as i tell everyone that does accuse me, just save the replay and report, and when i see you again later on then just know that Z8 found me to be legit. I would rather report someone that i believe to be a hack and be proven wrong then not report it and let a person continue to hack and empower others to hack as well.
as for ppl thinking that it will just be spammed to earn a ribbon, you wouldnt get the ribbon for just reporting, only if there was a confirmed hack in the report and a ban was followed up due to it. so spamming just cuz would do you no good and just waste your time. -

It's a lot better than what's going on now. Oh wow. A patch comes out. The hacks are patched for a day or less. Anywhere from 1-24 hours and new hacks are out. You can't even really play a prison anymore They all have no scope hacks. No scoping me from across the map and what not. Just the other day I had a report I sent in, well actually 4 of them. Just about everyone hacked in it, they all no scoped from across the map. Some with headshots. You can also see that the aimbot hack is progressing because they no longer do 360's - 720's and what not. Atleast not all of them. With my idea, atleast something is going to be done.

well thats something Z8 needs to deal with on their own. it comes down to 2 options... dont ban hackers simply cuz they buy zp and eventually make the other players quit playing OR ban hackers regardless of ZP and make the game more enjoyable for everyone else (hint: theres more legit players that buy ZP then there are hackers). btw, if a hacker is willing to buy ZP for 1 account that could get banned, they most likely buy it for other accounts and i bet they would buy it again if they had to make another. its the nature of ppl that if they want to be better then they will continue their patterns to do so.

ive also gotten ZP hackers banned, also many high ranked players to include a 1-star General rank. and i also agree on the supporters, if they dont try to kick someone that is a legitimate hack then i feel they should get a temp ban for the first 2 times and a perm ban on the 3rd (3 strikes and your out). this would force ppl to become aware of what the hacks really are and what they look like so they cant try to claim: "well ive never seen a hack so i dont know what they look like"(bull**** excuse anyone?) or "i didnt see them doing anything wrong"(ive seen this one used when ppl were instantly defusing bombs in GM/SnD) -
Yeah exactly. Really need more supporters for this. There's no reason this isn't in effect. Anyone that says different about this doesn't really care about the game. This idea is way better than what we're doing now which is nothing besides a few of us sending in reports and hoping the hack detector will catch them. I'm sure the developers are working on something too, but this idea I think would help out greately.
