opinions on "overpriced gaming gear"
how much more of a value does it give, that mouse/keyboard/headset/mouse pad
Or whatever that you bought, did it make you any better? Or did it make you dependent on your overpriced gear. like its some kind of drug you cant live without.
discuss this, ill check back on it in a while

Ive only really bought Headsets and id say that they are worth the price, but for mice and keyboards i dont really see them making much of a difference, but i probably would still buy some if i ever have the money sitting around doing nothing and i dont want anything else at all lol

Ok i have to say a GOOD headset is useful, but i seriously think all those overpriced headsets (i'm not going to name brands because i would hurt fan boys their feelings) have a lot more to offer that you would actually use. -
I bought a G35. Does that qualify as an overpriced headset? I got em for 80 bucks, though someone I know got em for 60... (iJelly)
with the 50% discount calculated or not?
yeah that counts for overpriced for me
well i guess getting something worth 80 for 40 would be borderline but still

I had a gaming mouse(cyborg v3) and it was worth the price.
Really liked it,was fine for 2 years or so,broke last month.

As for headset, its really worth it.
I've Creative Fatality, its doing its job great.
So IMO gaming gear is quite good. -

how much more game value did you get out of that mouse tho, if you compare it to a simple lasermouse -
Keyboard don't see making much of a difference other then Macro keys and how comfortable the keyboard is for you.
Use to use a rollerball for the longest time on CF. Got really good with it. Scooped and optical mouse and the game play changed quite a bit.(Much more sensitive) Now i got my logitech G9 and its like sliding a piece of ice on glass. The feeling of it is where it at plus the endless amount of options ect. Headset still rocking my 20$ behind the head logitech. Still hear what others here with there 100$ headsets.(Except bass. But thats what my car is for. Subwoofers FTW.)
5$ for the G9.
20$ for the keyboard.
20$ for the headset. -
I bought my stuff for the look at the first place, but when it's not for the look and i just want the fact the stuff work I buy cheap stuff that idc if it break

The price just make it flashy (most of the time) but for me it also make me take care of my stuff. If it was cheap I would be careless and pretty much spend more money rebuying it everytime than just buying 1 expensive one that I take care off.
