Ok Question..
Is it me or do the people with 150-20000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 ping shots reg better than NA/EU player shots? Seriously i tried playing with all that ping and it isnt pleasant.. but they make it look so easy.. like they have no problem with it. usually take me 2-4 hs for it to reg on a none NA player.. the shiits annoying, it really is.. and why do they shots land so easily?

Probably thats for them "normal" ping... -
yeah it is but im serious about the 150+
lol.
I don't know much about ping latency, but my model is like this:
Low Ping, Low FPS; This one confuses me most, because registered shots will be delayed, as movement, but at the same time, client-user will see himself lagging through the room, possibly having the teleportation effect?
Low Ping, High FPS; Best configuration, as most shots fired will be registered, and client will have flawless graphic updates (in framerates lol)
High Ping, Low FPS; Multiple shots fired in one trigger pull (meaning other players will hear like 10 shots being fired at once from one gun), teleportation effect, downright ugly gameplay for everyone, and the client-user will be raging on his computer, as demonstrated
High Ping, High FPS; Usual teleportation, but client-side will see the rest of the game lagging. -
Its all about timing and abusing the ping system to be perfectly honest. A high pinger can score good hits even with 100-200 ping (anything higher becomes unplayable), simply because you only need to time your attacks.
For instance, on other servers, I get around a 213 ping. Terrible right? I go into a room with all low pingers, I should theoretically get my arse whopped. Instead, most of the time, I take powerful weapons, such as an awm, sL or such with good accuracy and spray pattern.
The lagg, can actually help you for things like peaking. Especially at an exposed enemy. If you peak, fire, and move back with lets say an AWM, as long as your shot hit above the chest. Your practically guaranteed a kill. Why? Because even though YOU lagg, you also lagg to the enemy. You will see your opponent on your client and fire, before that registers to them. Causing the 'you die behind a wall' issue with low pingers getting killed by high ones. The rule of thumb in crossfire is 'there is never a tie in a gunfight'.
I've top fragged in servers because of my high ping and abusing the timing system of pings. CF shouldn't work this way, but it does. -
My hats off to you sir. Good to see an intelligent post.[MOD]Talonblaze wrote: »Its all about timing and abusing the ping system to be perfectly honest. A high pinger can score good hits even with 100-200 ping (anything higher becomes unplayable), simply because you only need to time your attacks.

I run across that peeking problem constantly. To the OP, Only way around it is to stack your rooms with friends or clan mates. Sux but thats just the only way your gonna get a game with pings you want. -
I'm very confused as well actually. When I am spiking at around 200+, 80% of my hits don't even reg. Then there's the BRs that somehow hit me no problem even with their ping. So confused...
With spiking your ping is moving up and down so theres a chance that your data packets ( or whatever its called ) will be lost and not get sent to the server.
But with a "BR" their ping is almost somewhat stable and they will reg but the game will lag a little for them but almost all of the time their shots will hit cos their ping isnt moving up and down losing data.
Well thats what i think anyway. -
