Can Crossfire be run from a flash drive?

Flash drive, yes (I accidentally installed it to my flash drive once... wondered why it was a bit sluggish to load )

DVD, I don't know. I'm thinking probably not because it does try to write a few files to the game directory. You could get a DVD-RW and find out, because then you won't waste a disc if it doesn't work
