Resolution issues: RESOLVED!

I have been unable to play Crossfire for a long time because, after updating my graphics card drivers, the screen resolution options would not let me play the game in full screen. There were black bars on either side of the game window.

However, as I was exploring my NVIDIA graphics card control panel, I found the solution.

1. Open NVIDIA Control Panel (If you have a NVIDIA video card. If not, I'm sure the steps for fixing the resolution issue will be similar).
2. Go to the sub-tab labeled "Adjust desktop size and position" under the Display tab.
3. If the option "use NVIDIA scaling with fixed-aspect ratio" is selected, this is where your problem resides. Change this setting to "use NVIdIA scaling".

FWhen I selected this option it eliminated the black bars on either side of the game window and allowed me to play in full screen.

I hope this helps everyone else with similar resolution issues!

Wow that's fantastic :P.. As I was begging for help on the forums and looking through numerous posts, nobody, not even the mods, directed me to that post. :/
