I don't think you can PLAY in windowed mode, but you can put your lobby,storage,bm, etc into windowed mode, but when you join a game, it will automatically go into fullscreen.

a long time ago but realy a long time ago in the times suba owned this game.
i played this game on w-mode dont ask how i did it it just was possible now i dont know

Take that SS and imagine the 3rd resolution on a 1920x1080screen. You'll see what I had for over 2months.

Having a full HD screen is awesome especially when the game you play only fills the quarter of your screen... (sarcasm).

Btw it's fixed now. The game looked less pixeled when it only filled the quarter of my screen.
We need new resolutions ><.

And yeah a windowed mode would be cool for when you die in SD, GM or EM. Xfire's browser sucks and I'd like to be able to go on chrome and go back to the game without any delay.

It dont work but u can go in Crossfire order and change the solutions

Before you open CrossFire open your resolution settings/options. If you have Windows 7 just right click your desktop and it should pop up.

After that, when you enter a game, alt+tab and change your resolution to the one you always have. CrossFire always changes to the resolution you have it set in the video options. After you change the resolution in the resolution settings/options CF will be in windowed mode

Bad thing is that it stays in the corner but you can still see everything. You also get more FPS.

crossfire definitely needs higher resolutions and a ingame window mode...

This is a bug with Windows 7. If you're running a native resolution higher than CF's resolution, you'll experience the game this way. There's currently no fix, but Z8 is aware of the problem and we should see a fix in upcoming patches.

how about just giving us real resolutions instead of those old lame ones we have?
There's an easy fix, make 1920x1080 resolution and we'll all be happy.

I bet over 30% of the community uses that res and we really need it because it's annoying to have a pixeled game.

Yeah- this falls into my idea of multitasking while ingame-

Currently the issue is that alt-tabbing out (or hitting ESC and clicking into my second monitor) is that your monitor's distorted resolution stays while your client is open- if it where a window, you could just use alt-tab and seamlessly switch apps.
