Download virus

i had to delete crossfire a few days ago cause my computer ran slow I put it on again this morning and the download completed. then i went to install it, i followed everything but when the installation began, after filling 1 bar, the setup closed and my antivirus said that it is a security risk and it deleted the program so my computer is secure!!! I installed crossfire a few times before but never had any problem!! plz help, i love crossfire!!!!!!

Hi shauryaa, how are you?

1. Install and run "Ccleaner" (Trash and errors).
2. Install "Revo Unistaller" and remove CrossFire on "Full remove".
3. Instal again Cross Fire.

I also had this problem. I have norton internet security and it always deleted aegisdll.dll. Just put the "Z8 games" folder in the list of folders that aren't being scanned and they aren't checked by Auto-Protect

Thank you PTK it did work but just to let you know... again my antivirus did detect suspicion but it didn't close the installation setup. So i dont really care whatever happens but atleast crossfire is back!! LOL thanks once again!
