Making a Good player
Does anyone believe that its equipment that makes the player.. or the actual skill of the player.
by equipment i mean
mice, headsets, keyboards, cpus
Could you have all the skill in cf but only play on a 10inch screen with 10$ mouse?
Opinions on this??

I've got $5 ear buds, $500 laptop, $30 mouse, and a free keyboard.
I believe I perform to my potential.
Bad equipment could potentially break a player. Such as, crappy ball mouse, low frames on a pc, etc.
I think average equipment like mine suits players just fine but high-end equipment does give a little edge. -
well how much edge would it actually have realistically
assuming that the players were of the same caliber.
Imagine that pings and fps were the same and the only diffs would be the mouse headsets and keyboard.
Would the razer equipment prevail.. or the 10$ equipment -
Well you do need a functioning computer, mouse, and keyboard. But the headphones also help a LOT. It helps to listen to footsteps/breaths so it also helps a person to become pro.
Having a computer that doesn't lag would also be a good thing. Other then that it's mostly reaction and pressure. -

If it was hypothetically the exact same player playing himself on all the same equipment in the same exact environment with the only difference being a mouse/keyboard/headset then yes a majority of the time the better equipment would win.
In a realistic situation somebody with slightly more skill could easily prevail over somebody with high-end equipment. -
bad player+best equipment =bad player
bad player+bad equipment = bad player
Skill is what counts
well i would have to disagree because,
even if both are bad players, the one with the best equipment will still be less bad than the one with bad skill and equipment -

but it would be interesting to know how much the good equipment can actually substitute for skill. -

so get good then?
no 2 players are equally good/bad.
equipment does not matter as much as u thik it does -

Lol what skill do you need in this game?
Before the trolls rage over my comment, LOOK at this game. Takes no intelligence, takes no physical strength, and definitly doesnt take strategy. -
