Just wondering.. Why hate so much?
Well when replying to a post on $5000 raised & donated to Japan, there was hatred. Looking at other announcements, like patches, troubles ect, there's so much hatred towards Z8/G4/CF/ect? I mean, what have the done? The release patches out now with useful updates, fix errors, provide a FREE First Person Shooter game(Along with Metin2 of course) and still get yanked at? People moan about hackers: There always will be hacks. People hack Sony for gods sake, people hacked PSN network to a Major company, so what can you expect more from Z8? People comparing other games to CF, CSS: Gonna be hackers there(they are..).
Awhile ago CF has a flash problem(which they never detected until they released public). They fixed the problem, yet they still god trolled? They release ZP crates people troll. Why? You have to keep a company running? GP crates are great, AK Camo, DE. Camo, great guns. The item market, mainly all GP items/guns? So I don't see a problem(Famos Pwns, I agree to making it a GP crate btw).
I'm not moaning at people, I'm not trying to start something up here(seriously..). Just wondering why. You hate.

Because thats just how the majority of the players are. You can't blame some people some times. I mean...we get reskins of the same weapons over and over. People wouldn't complain if it was a different weapon like the QBZ, G36K, M700 etc. They get ignored and honestly...who likes that? They also release some weapons that won't get bought that often, which means they don't really make profit out of them, into ZP. For example the Famas-Camo. People asked for a reskin of the Famas for a long time and guess what? ZP. Its just a reskin with more ammo. I don't see how thats worth the ZP. And the some of the stuff they release...a flight attendant...childish hats. I don't mind some of those but they seriously need to release some better looking items and gear that fit the game. We're getting a h00ker in the future for sure...awesome.
But of course there's good things they do. Fixing errors, glitches, THE HACKING which was never the same since GameGuard...now its 100 times better. Some cool reskins, some awesome and fun weapons (Winchester, Dual Desperado, DUAL FAKING UZI!). -
I know that but they can easily bring others reskins from other versions of other different weapons that aren't the AK47, M4, Deagle and AWM. They have QBZ reskins. They have Anaconda reskins. They have PSG reskins. They have a lot more but they continue to release the same weapon over and over. I understand they're the signature weapons of this game and many others, but enough is enough...
But as some people say. Something good always follows something bad...and sometimes its true

To answer your question without all the halabalu...yeah...basically. I'll keep waiting though. They occasionally release something most people like. Until then I'll just stay with my AK-Pencil and Deagle-Sexy. -

Even if they say we... they mean themselves. People just want more and more and when they dont get it, they throw a tantrum and complain..

I got annoyed playing crossfire earlier today because there were quite a few laggers, tanking anf teleporting around me and killing me... you know what I did? Took a break off the pc. Then played a different game. I didnt come here making a thread about "this problem or that problem", or go complaining to the GM's. -

Funny thing is that CF probably does the same thing. ITs just on a more reserved manner. "I" want money and recognition so I'll have a 10% fundraiser for Japan FOR A FEW ITEMS.

But seriosly... This pretty much had it done for me when they said that ONLY specific items would be eligible for TEN percent which would be donated to Japan. Thats just sad. Like really sad.
The implications and the intentions of only doing 10% shows that the Devs or whoevers in charge doesnt really care. Probably fuled by Anti Japanese sentiment from the Korean Devs. Sick Greedy people imho. -
Most of the immature players in this game are indeed probably what you can say at the start of their puberty. (If you must know I'm 15.) Most people also cannot handle stress right. They'll just start doing rather the worst possible things to gather attention so they can get people to go against a certain idea.
And yes, I agree with Giggletron over what "I" want. It's quite a pain to see how many people these days are not as altruistic as they were back then. (-wishes to be in the 90s generation-)

Sounds about right. I mean, Z8 and G4 were MADE to make money...any way possible, it seems...
Anyway, "I" (now meaning ME and quite a few people other than ME, because I am not the only person who's suggested it before.......) want more weapons because I want something that truly fits my play style idealism...ones that can be customized to fit multiple situations...not having to shell out MANDO cash to have a damn scope that I can use for long range situations on a short/mid range weapon...versatility.
Not like something like that should even be just ZP.

You also have to keep in mind they don't have to give us new content. any gun that is a reskin with extra clip size can be a huge advantage -

The 5000$ to japan was a wonderful thing in my point of view. People just like to think that this 5000$ could have been a new gun in the game or something ******ed like that. You can't simply define an appropriate approach based on your own personality. Given that Z8 shouldn't be held responsible for ineffective coding, it is in fact our portal to this version of the game. Should we all in unison write to Smilegate about it? Translators please?
Denial isn't the only option, and as far as I'm concerned, I realize your opinion on the matter can't totally be impartial. You have to be somehow subjective. Consumers have the right to voice their opinion and concerns, in a civil way of course. You cannot, I repeat, you cannot possibly tell us to keep quiet and hope for the best. It would be highly profitable to have feedback and quality customer service, this is a key component to a company's survival.
And constructive criticism is not something that Z8Games should overlook. -

This is a free game so technically speaking there is no "consumer" in the aspect of paying for the game itself(zp doesnt count in this situation).
How many threads have you seen that were civil that voiced opinions? 3 out of 1000. -

Yet without ZP buyers, they wouldn't have that contract with Smilegate.
And yes, many threads are made by people who lacks civility. I agree with you on that, but keep in mind that shouldn't prevent polite and articulate people from making constructive but firm threads about the issues encountered. -

It's hard to do that since all the CF versions have the same DEVs. -

Uh...I know a small scale forum that raised a bit more than $4k in TEN days. But still there's a need for a fancy announcment. PR much?ZOMFG we got OVER FIVE THAUSAND $?!?!?!?!
Seriously, if I want to help out, I'm donating directly to the Japanese Red Cross. This is helping more than telling people to buy items so they can donate x% of the item's price >_>
That's what I'm talking about. People see "Oh great, I can buy stuff and have a good conscience" and forget about the remaining 90% of the money.5.000$ is a lot of money for a few in-game items.
Don't even bother with "But it's just to help those poor people" very few companies would do that.
They should all stop this x% for every purchase since it's more or less more about the remaining % + PR. Also making money from serious disasters, worst of all.
Not saying that everything that Z8 does is bad, but they do regularly cr*p like this, and that's what I'm criticizing. -
I think people are mad and rightly so for two reasons;
1) The percentage donated was low 10% of $50,000 = $5,000.
And the only reason (most probably) this company made the $50,000 was because misguided people were buying the panda stuff thinking they are helping Japan when anything couldn't be further from the truth, basically it was a marketing ploy to make money for the company and to help boost it's image as helping charity.
These people that brought panda stuff would of been better off giving directly to the Red Cross 100% of their money, then Japan would of had $50,000.
2) Another issue that is brought into contrast is the sheer volume of money this company makes, the $5000 was 10% of the $50,000 this company made selling just "Panda stuff" (not other ZP items).
So with crates, chars, char items, clan items, functional items, surveys, adverts, affiliate programs etc the company during that time must of made fortune, yet were are told when problems are raised such as poor anti hack solution "it's a free game", "there will always be hackers" whilst both are true it is a poor excuse to have hackers overtake most rooms in most channels in most servers for months like before xmas.
There's nothing wrong with making money after all it is a busines, and there is nothing wrong making obscene amounts either, but providing poor service in some areas under the guise the "game is free" is kind of well you know ... Poor...
All said and done $5,000 is $5,000 and it will help, so yes it is cool but don't expect people to be happy on your behalf, you got what you wanted so you should already be happy.
You can steal 3 lolliepops from random kids and give 1 to an orphan, whilst it is a sweet things to do it's hardly admirable. -
