Nothing wrong with a little crazy... as long as no one gets hurt (or run over)I'd tell you of most the girls already here, but they're kinda nutz, so I'll spare you.

Not true tbh. Not everyone wants attention... I know I wouldn't want a bunch of 12yos staring at my hypothetical rack just for kicks. The world is a beautiful place out there full of different kinds of people... not everyone behaves like the vast majority of nerdy gamers

Almost everyone here craves attention one way or another. Its just that the girls go about it differently than the guys do. And you can't blame a girl for liking to hear that guys think she's pretty. Especially in an environment where the male/female ratio is what, 20 to 1? Everyone likes a compliment. Whether it is on their looks, gaming skills, or other talents.

from a womans point of view i would care less, how a bunch of boys, some of which allergic to sunlight and/or fresh air, judge over my looks/persona. threads like this one display sexism at its finest. of course women play games! if you are female, fine! play the game and even try to compete against some guys. no need to pull a a tankgirl on here. -

From a particularly odd male perspective, I find it has the "opposite" effect on me. Attention-craving is one of those "turn-off" features, no self respecting person should care about the worlds opinion on the internet. You want to share it with people you know? By all means do so, but posting it on a forum to attract attention and virtual high-fives or e-compliments is kinda silly IMO.
Now, I'll be the first to admit I'm not exactly "normal", so chances are I'm the one that's off here >.> -

Those hormones make them all feel a little bit insecure about themselves. Fishing for compliments on their looks, however silly it may seem, might just be what they need to boost their self-esteem.
No worries. Most of them will grow out of it sooner or later. Usually around the time where they find a boyfriend that spends more time with them than their game console.

I don't think age or hormones have much to do with it, but you're bang on about insecurity. We're talking about teenage girls here. Hello? This youtube account is not mine, it's my brother! And I'm not asking for opinion
if I am a girl or not, but you guys understand that girls also like
things that most boys like!
I believe in me and I care not by what others think or not! ¬¬ -

fixed that for your, sir pickle.
it´s really amazing how most "girls" crave for attention on here. like they wanted a tap on the head for being a "female" gamer. yuck
I do not want anyone's attention, I just want you guys to know that girls also like things that most boys like! -
Take it from someone with personal experience in that field. Hormones do crazy things to a girl. And not just to their bodies.
I once heard that it is possible in Germany to discharge a murderer when you can prove that you were under heavy influence of hormones and a female. I think there was a precedent two years ago
Concerning the main topic:
Girls are often or most times not as enthusiastic as boys about FPS games or ranking. Most girls play just for fun. That often causes a lack of skill and makes them quit after a while. That's one of the reasons you rarely find girls in games like this. -
