Why is the Scar Light so hated?
I'm a Steyr AUG A1 lover 
I saved up enough money to buy a new gun. I was thinking about getting the Scar Light, so I YouTube'd some reviews and read some in forums. If it's so powerful, why do people hate it so irrationally? I'd think that everyone love it and we all just get one and own each other...
It seems like a nice gun to have. I'm not worried about being called a noob for owning a hated gun...but I was just curious as to why it's hated in the first place. I'll probably change my mind about buying it and settle for Desert Eagle...

If you want people to recognize that you are a skilled player don't use it.
You can kill a many players with that gun, but no player will ever say that your good...
they will say the oposite, sometimes you will be kicked just for that.
why buy a gun that is so easy to use? Isn't that boring? -
Depends on the player. For me, most the time yes, I'd rather have a challenge. But then there are those times I just want everything in front of me to die.why buy a gun that is so easy to use? Isn't that boring?

OKay, some CF history there. It used to be a "pro" gun something like 2 years and a half ago. And it was even more powerfull. The community was small and only a couple of players could afford it.Than, too much people came. And everyone started using it. Even rookies. So we had rookies who started to beat oldschool players, just because they would need to care less about recoil or aiming, while oldschool players had to use their AKs and M4s to aim accurately and to study recoil carefully. Scarlight, requiring only to hold the "fire" button and to look into general ennemy direction, is thus hated. Since it's somewhat of a cheat.
Personally, in a somewhat serious game, I kick M12/SL users on sight and don't hesitate to cuss them out. I consider SL and M12s akin hacking, since it's just another manner of cheating. -

I was one of those first to get it. More power than an AK-47 (no joke), less recoil than an M4, I would just hold down fire and get headshots. I eventually sold it because I got bored of it when they nerfed it. -

I was one of those who never had one (before recently when I started collecting every single gun possible and when I learned the Scar Light glitch) and preferred to invest in a Deagle + SG552. ) . Just a game, I don't care much about ppl call me in a game. I use skills in a real life.:cool: -
Well you are free to buy it, but you wont get respect from most of the community if you own with it, if you dont care what people say, go ahead and buy it and have fun.
Btw if you want at least some extra respect, own everyone with an AK.
Whoever masters the AK masters most guns. -

I totally forgot about the AK!! That was one of my favorite guns to use while playing in the Alaska map. The recoil was a lot to handle but it was beast. Do most of the pro players use the AK? -
The legit reason is cheating. LoLuMaD? Though so.You really shouldn't care about what people say about it. Anyone who kicks SL and M12s users on sight really doesn't have a legit reason, unless it's in echo 8 or something but that's a different story.

For example, I was using G36K for a LONG while, and I still do below average with it. While I usually go 2.0 + K/D with M4s, AKs, XM8s and AWMs. -

And scar light isn't cheating, as it is part of the game, and everyone has access to it, same as m12s, just buy one yourself, and own some newbies
If you don't like using the above mentioned guns, then DON'T USE THEM, but also it doesn't give you the right to kick someone for using them >:S
They use the guns they like, you use what u like.. if u suck with your current gun, can't kill the ones with scar/m12s, and don't choose to use a different gun, then your just not smart. Don't kick the people that are a challenge -.- -

Scar Light isn't hated that badly, it's a pretty strong gun. People only hate you for killing them with it cuz you know, QQ much
Better than m16/m4a1/ak-47 cause thats when they really won't acknowledge legit skill and try to kick you if you destroy everyone with it...not that it's an easy feat to do XD -
Having supperior weaponry (especially such unrealisting as SL) is cheating. Player with SL has the advantage, while it's supposed to be balanced. And yes, be mad at me. Hmm, seems to me like you're the mad one here. I really can't believe you would hate somebody just because they have different views than you. What did I ever do to you? I own the SL but do not use it, so you just plan on kicking me for no reason? The world does not revolve around you, learn to accept it.
All I said was how people shouldn't kick other people without a legit reason, and you troll me for that?
